BFAD to FDA

OMG...

I really feel bad about this! I always struggle and dream of a Filipino identity at least in my field but then again, shit happens!

I thought its Nancy Tacandong, the new FDA Director-General (not director as it was traditionally called) who thought of jeoperdizing the name BFAD to FDA but a good friend of mine who works for her and who is also my classmate at UST graduate school said that its part of the harmonization of the 10 ASEAN countries.

But I still prefer BFAD! BFAD stands for Bureau of Food and Drugs (the FDA of the Philippines) because we have our own identity and its cool to the ears. Hell with ASEAN! we can still comply even if we have a different name, right?

Nancy, I am proud of you when you became Director-General because we both came from SWU even if you graduated 5 decades ahead (kidding) and beacuse you are also "Bisaya" like me, we both came from Misamis Oriental and my family personally knows yours but I hope this is not a start of a copycat administration. Please make us proud by empowering more innovative ideas independent of the whites.

Welcome

Thank you for dropping by!

I created this blog for myself but I am very much pleased for your visit, It's like having a visitor for dinner therefore a chance to show hospitality.

I hope you enjoy this blog as much as I do since I've been wanting to link pharmacy practice to our daily posh and humor. Should you also want to share your thoughts, you may post or email me at meanb0i@yahoo.com.ph.

God Bless!
